Vivisimo Expands the New Generation
of Enterprise Search

With competition intensifying in every industry, organizations around the world are looking for new solutions that will help them uncover information buried in their own systems. Raul’s View: Enterprise Search to
Eclipse Web Search by 2010

In his latest entry on the Search Done Right blog, Vivisimo CEO Raul Valdes-Perez predicts that advances in technology will spark an increase in enterprise search usage. In fact, Raul says that by the end of 2010, the number of enterprise search queries will actually surpass web searches.

Enterprise Search Has a New Leader

At Vivisimo we try to be humble, but it's hard to contain our excitement about the latest Forrester Research report on enterprise search. It was our debut in an independent report, "The Forrester Wave™: Enterprise Search Q2 2008" (May 2008), and we landed a spot as a leader.

Forrester evaluated global enterprise search companies and wrote that Vivisimo has "highly-developed, forward thinking solutions and high marks from customers for service."

The report also discusses the state of the enterprise search market and gives organizations practical advice for choosing a search solution.

Driving ROI from Search
at Modine Manufacturing

Everyone knows that good search has an inherent value. But quantifying that value has traditionally been difficult.

Modine Manufacturing, a thermal management systems and components manufacturer, has found proven value thanks to the Vivisimo-powered search on its new global intranet.

Modine is using the Vivisimo Velocity Search platform to help its 7,800 employees around the world search across its intranet, Documentum, a Windows file share containing .tif images, as well as file shares located in North America and Europe.

Modine says its search and intranet have generated $3.6 million in productivity savings. As a result, CIO Magazine has named Modine one of “100 Companies Transforming Business Through Innovation and Execution.”
