Find Your Dream Job Faster with Clusty's Jobs Tab
Lets College Graduates, Job Seekers Search and Cluster Jobs from 500 Job Web Sites
Pittsburgh, PA— Clusty, the first next-generation search site powered entirely by clustering technology, today introduced a new tab at jobs.clusty.com designed to help college graduates, business professionals and other job seekers search for jobs. Through a content agreement with Indeed.com, Clusty's Jobs tab clusters job listings from more than 600 job sites, including major job boards such as Careerbuilder.com and Monster.com, the top 200 newspapers' classifieds pages, and hundreds of associations and company career pages. Users can begin using the Clusty Jobs Tab immediately at http://jobs.clusty.com.
Clusty's free job search service features include:
- Keyword Job Searches: Job seekers can search for open positions using keywords, such as company name or job title.
- Location: Searches can be refined and narrowed by city, state or zip code. Users can also define the search radius using the Advanced Job Search options.
- Clustering: All job search results can be clustered by topic, company or city e.g. users can see all marketing jobs in each company in Chicago.
As the number of job listings grows, the ability to search quickly through them without overlooking important opportunities is crucial for job seekers. A search on "Sales in Chicago" that is clustered by "Topic," for example, returns folders on Retail, Executive, Consultant, Full-Time and so on, enabling searchers easily to click on topics of interest and navigate the large number of results. Folders also can be expanded to view additional subtopics.
"Indeed gives job seekers access to millions of employment opportunities and the ability to refine their searches in order to find jobs that best fit their requirements," said Paul Forster, CEO of Indeed. "The combination of Indeed's search engine for jobs with Vivisimo's on-the-fly clustering delivers a powerful and unique search experience to job seekers, enabling them to connect with potential employers and find the most relevant jobs more quickly and efficiently than ever before."
Clusty's Jobs Tab is the latest in a line of popular and innovative search channels, including the Gov Tab, Wikipedia Tab and Gossip Tab, added to Clusty since its launch last September by Vivisimo. Vivisimo launched Clusty in response to popular demand from its users.
