Candidate EXPERIENCE and requirements

• Knowledge of XML technologies (XPath, XSL, Schemas, SOAP, etc.)
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
• Expertise in web technologies (Web servers, CGI scripts, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.)
• Minimum 3 years experience as applications engineer, or closely related experience preferred
• Consultative experience with customers
• Excellent presentation skills
• Ability and interest in making complex product configurations in support of customer projects
• Ability to quickly develop a broad understanding of projects and initiatives and to work with senior professional staff and high-level leadership
• Self-motivated, flexible, team orientated and willing to take the initiative on tasks supporting the customer’s mission
• Willingness to travel on occasion

other pluses

• Experience with configuring and maintaining Apache and IIS web servers 
• Experience with enterprise applications (Exchange, SharePoint, Interwoven, Documentum, Lotus Notes, SAP,
  Oracle, etc.) 
• Experience with complex IT environments (Security, Authentication, SSO, Network Storage, Backup, etc.) 
• Experience with search engines, text mining or information visualization, information extraction, XML databases, etc.
