Federal Inside Sales Representative

As an integral member of the inside sales team, you will work closely with Federal field sales managers to develop and drive new sales opportunities for both targeted prospects and existing customers. The successful candidate will also work with marketing on the execution of a variety of lead generation programs.
Candidate Key Capabilities and Responsibilities:- Develop new opportunities by cold calling into Federal Departments and Agencies(Intel-DOD-Civilian) to identify key decision makers and seed them with company and solution awareness messaging. Develop an overall understanding of the mission of different agencies and how solutions are selected and promoted. Create, understand and chart Federal Departments.
- Work with marketing and regional sales on outreach programs and quota attainment for regional seminars and webinars. Follow up and qualify leads from a wide variety of marketing campaigns, such as trade shows, whitepaper downloads, seminars, and webinars.
- Collaborate with regional sales managers and interfacing with sales prospects when necessary to assure that leads and other sales opportunities are acted upon in a timely manner.
- Maintain prospect and customer information and other pertinent account details in the CRM system.
Candidate Experience and Requirements:The ideal candidate will be customer service and goal-oriented, a strong communicator, self-motivated, and an enthusiastic team player and have: - A minimum of three to five years of Federal inside sales experience in an enterprise software environment preferred.
- A strong, proven record of driving sales using a variety of selling strategies and an enjoyment for building relationships over the telephone or other indirect methods.
- The ability to understand enterprise search solutions and communicate Vivisimo's value to prospective customers.
- The ability to communicate effectively, prioritize activities and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in business or marketing or equivalent.
