Application Engineer (post-sales)

Vivisimo seeks an Applications Engineer for post-sales deployments with these skills:

  • Knowledge of XML technologies (XPath, XSL, Schemas, SOAP, etc.)
  • Expertise in web technologies (Web servers, CGI scripts, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.)
  • Experience interacting directly with customers
  • Good presentation & communication skills
  • Ability and interest in making complex product configurations in support of customer projects with our sophisticated information retrieval suite

Other pluses:

  • Experience with configuring and maintaining Apache and IIS web servers
  • Experience with enterprise applications (Exchange, Sharepoint, Interwoven, Documentum, Lotus Notes, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
  • Experience with complex IT environments (Security, Authentication, SSO, Network Storage, Backup, etc.)
  • Experience with search engines, text mining or information visualization, information extraction, XML databases, etc.
  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience
